CLIENT COLLABORATIONS
YOUR IDEA + MY DESIGN
Whether you are imagining accessories for your business, for an upcoming event or to give as a unique gift, we can work together to co-design something special. I’ve found that it’s the people who say they’re "not creative at all" who often contribute the very notions that leads to a successful design! Browse that gallery below to see the results of past client collaborations and the individuality of their finished pieces.

The 100th Monkey Collection is the result of a design collaboration between Megin Spivey and myself. The "100th Monkey" effect is based on a theory that group consciousness spreads instantaneously from one group of monkeys to all related monkeys once a critical number is reached.
Megin explains, "In my collaborative efforts with one of my dearest friends, artist Karen Hemphill, there happens to be a distinct collective consciousness or an uncanny simpatico that exists between us when we are creating." Megin has a keen awareness of quality materials and trends in the men's accessories market while I bring my original process and new content to our collaborative works.
The Spivey setting is cast in fine silver, is handmade in New York, and is available as a special order only.

England Avenue After

The Calligrapher Collection celebrates the artistry of lettering by hand, what’s been called "dance on a tiny stage of the living, breathing hand" by Robert Bringhurst in The Elements of Typographic Style. Kelle McCarter, also known as designsgirl, is sought out by clients for her exemplary hand lettered works.
I had the privilege of partnering in creative collaboration with Kelle—a good fit because she and I share an affinity for clean design and a preference for quality materials. Kelle has created an exclusive exemplar, The Calligrapher, for my clients. This collection is available etched in both fine Italian leathers and in cherry wood. She also offers custom monograms on request.
I am thrilled to be working with Kelle and I couldn't be more inspired by the experience of collaborating with her. Her portfolio includes works in graphic design, calligraphy and the written word. Find Kelle here.

JACK SIMPSON
The first met Jack Simpson in 2001; I was in Manhattan at Dormeuil Personal Tailoring. Eleven years later, we serendipitously reconnected and met for coffee to share our current endeavors.
Jack has been a leader in the field of customized apparel for twenty years. Esquire featured him as one of the “Ten Best Dressed Men in Fashion.” Departures, the American Express platinum cardholder’s publication, recognized him as an “Arbiter of Taste,” an accolade extended to but a handful of men worldwide. GQ cited him as one of the “Twelve Guys You Should Know” and the prestigious Neiman Marcus magazine, The Point, wrote: “Simpson is never short on charisma or brilliant style ideas that fit the man. With his couture service, Simpson is creating entire wardrobes and every piece is designed with taste and individual lifestyle in mind.”
Jack and I regularly work together on side projects and every year we collaborate my cufflinks with some of his new ties. Find Jack here.
Mike Robbins
My collaboration with artist Mike Robbins features Mike’s stunning craftsmanship paired with my passion for jewelry making. Mike, who’s been called an "artistic sawyer," saws character-filled logs to showcase the results of nature in wood for use in his acclaimed furniture. Medullary rays—the radial ribbons that traverse a tree’s growth rings—add distinction to each of Mike’s pieces.
Inspired by Mike's work, I designed Live Edge Collection of pendants and bangles. The tactile quality of each piece is so incredibly refined and soft; remarkably, because of Mike’s process, this jewelry is also remarkably durable. The result of our collaboration is nothing less then a line of jewelry fit for a gallery.
